Inspired by Samskeyti by Sigur Rós. I was just listening to it when I felt like writing a little drabble for it. First I considered making it a scene for Ce, but decided against. It can stand on it‘s own. Then the song ended and I played it again and the song ended again and I was almost finished.
So this is by far no literary masterpiece and the description alone is as long as the actual piece, but nevermind. I like it. :)
He sat at the piano, playing a simple melody over and over again, hitting the keys gently. Eyes closed and body swaying gently back and forth. The intensity of the melody increasing with each repetition. The melody reminded him of rain falling. He felt himself falling into the music, everything else becoming unimportant. He let the melody wash over him, almost feeling the rain drops hitting his skin. He smiled. A playful, lighter variation made its way into the play, although not less in intensity. Slowly, the melody slowed down, only rare droplets of notes falling into the room, gently fading away until silence filled the room.
He opened his eyes again, feeling almost empty, now that the music had left him.

And I think I have a thing for rain and rain drops…
They made their way into Ce, a little pwp story, a detective story and now this…
Oh, and another pwp story…
